BAKER CHIROPRACTIC, PA is
having NEW CARDS printed for our business.
As you will note, in the middle card, we have a picture of the upper management
for our office. From Left to Right, Ms. Tammy Bennett-Baker, our General
Manager,
then, Dr. John Raymond Baker ,DC, clinical director and owner, and on the
far right, Ms. Tina Herd, our office manager. These cards will be in addition
to our previous business cards.

The newest cards are on the right (black suit cards).
We are currently working in our fourth year (as of
October 3, 2009 we will have been
open for four years here in Longview). We have been fortunate to have started
from
scratch, and have had around 700 new patients. These have mostly been from
referrals by other folks such as other patients, other doctors, attorneys, and
our
websites and videos on YouTube
and other sites.
If you need a conservative care, non-surgical,
non-pharmaceutical, spine specialist
and back doctor, then BAKER CHIROPRACTIC, PA of Longview may be the right
place for you, whether you live in Longview, Lindale, Tyler, Whitehouse, White
Oak,
Mineola, Marshall, Kilgore, Big Sandy, Hallsville, Winona, Gilmer, Gladewater,
or
other places in Smith County, Upshur County, or Gregg County.
We accept workers compensation cases, auto accident /
car wreck victims, and work
well with most attorneys who may be representing patients in work comp accident
cases
or motor vehicle accident / personal injury cases.
Thoughts on 2009.
You know, as a country, we have had a rough 8 and now,
going on nine years.
A
little over eight years ago, as a country, we suffered the horrible loss of close
to 3,000 fellow Americans with the 911 attack in New York. Since that
time, we have lost billions of dollars in Iraq and Afghanistan, our
economic system has all but collapsed, and we have a new high
in unemployment. As I understand, we recently had the highest
unemployment in 16 years. Online searches, show that many big
name retail stores are either going out of business or closing a big
percentage of their stores.
So, it's bleak. Many of the folks who have a house and
job, are wondering
how long they will have both of them.
But, I say that each of us should at least, be thankful
for what we have right
now. We just had Thanksgiving, and I guess that spurred me to believe
how little we tend to be thankful for all the good things like sight, hearing,
ability to walk, talk, etc., and instead, focus on how far our lives are
deviating
from what we dream they were. We may live in Chicago and wish we lived
in Hawaii. We may have a 27 inch television and feel depressed it is not
a big screen television. We may have occasional back pain, but then,
we see someone in a wheelchair, paralyzed from the waist down, and fail
to thank God that we can walk.
So, sure things are bad. But, we will have a new
president inaugurated
before long, a new year will be born, and ever the optimist, as a country,
we can begin to hope that things will get better, that the invasion of
our rights and privacy by things like the Patriot Act will be repealed,
and that our country, after an eight year long nightmare, will begin
to heal, begin to turn again to prosperity instead of depression,
and that people will, someday, begin to treat each other with decency,
and even, dare we hope, kindness.
